It is -5 degrees F with a windchill of -25 to -35 degrees F. I'm watching the snow blowing and swirling out the patio doors as I type.
I am grateful for many things on such winter days: a roof over my head, my functioning furnace, wool socks, cozy throw. But I am most grateful for indoor plumbing.

Although our weather is cold, it doesn't even begin to compare with yours! But I hear you on the indoor plumbing! There are certain things you just don't want to be without!

i enjoy indoor plumming, but if i had to choose between a warm cozy house, i'd take a dump in a ice cream bucket and toss the thing out side, with the windchill today, it would freeze before the steam formed.
